Beauty Review – China Glaze Neon Nail Polishes

In preparation for  an upcoming wedding this Saturday with a Candy Lane theme, I had to let my creativity juices flow. However, due to the limited ‘candy’ colours available in my nail polish collection, I chose these 2 neon colours from China Glaze.

I must now eat back my words that mixing normal and gelish nail polishes is now a BIG NONO for me. I realised that they don’t last! Although it’s actually mostly the nail polishes on my pointer fingernails get chip off. Was advised by my colleague who works as a PT manicurist that I shouldn’t be mixing them both, but heck, I did, and many times and the rest of the fingers were rather durable! The only annoying thing is that, once the nail polishes chip or peel off on my pointers, they do so constantly! Can you imagine having to repaint, cure, repaint, cure, repaint, cure…? And this repetitive process is only to paint 1 nail completely. Times the number of times the nail polish peels/chips… And especially annoying when you have a function/event to attend, then they get ruin just before or during the event. Ugly nails, shouldn’t even exist!

Bought some China Glaze nail polishes from Qoo10.

Closer look.

*I must admit I do have shaky hand by the way.

After posting a picture of my NOTD, my ex-classmate and I discussed a little over FB. And in conclusion, China Glaze Neon nail polishes are :

  • Clumpy
  • Dries out too fast which creates lumps and thick layers
  • Too runny

Seche Restore’s review was also discussed.

  • It didn’t work for my CG Snow Globe. It remains lumpy.
  • Was told that it should only be used on normal nail polishes than gelish.

So all in all, I think CG nail polishes are quite sucky now, especially if you have left them untouched for awhile. Upsetting, because I’ve been buying them as they are relatively cheaper.

Gelish nail polishes aren’t cheap and cheap ones might not be good (and they might be fakes).

Flip Flop’s quality was worse than Pool Party’s.

Am gonna think twice before getting anymore CG nail polishes in the future :(

DIY gelish nails x normal nail polishes

YES! You’ve read it right! I’ve attempted to go all full force by experimenting using normal nail polishes and mixing it with gelish nail polishes (base and top coats).

I’ve always wanted to try using normal nail polishes as the base colour because gelish nail polishes are DAMN EXPENSIVE!!! It costs about $20 per bottle vs $8 (china glaze from DYON international – Cineleisure Scape)! I bought my 1st gelish nail polishes, top and base coats from gelish harmony from DYON as well 🙂

I’ve to first disclaim that the results might not turn out as pretty as gelish nail polishes or durable for that matter. But keep my fingers crossed anyhoo.

Here are the products and tools that were used.

Photo 26-05-2013 10 33 42 PM

Now, don’t say that I’ve not been sharing awesome deals (if you’ve been reading my blog, you would know I DO share great buys with honest reviews (not sponsored)).

Base coat, Top Coat and China glaze were bought from DYON International from Cineleisure Scape. I’ve even linked their Facebook page for you 🙂 How can you not love me eh? I’ve been getting most of my OPI and China Glaze nail polishes from them. China Glaze are going for 3 for $20! How can you resist?! Well, I couldn’t. So I’ve quite a handful of them lying around, which I thought might not work with gelish nail polishes or curing with UV/LED lamp.

But tadah! IT WORKS!

Laquee Rette Blue Purple Glitter were from Qoo10 – lovely.desiires

Cute Ribbon LED Lamp (18Watts) and Gelish Harmony Nail Surface Cleanse from Qoo10 – Crystalife

You can actually replace the Nail Surface Cleanse with lint wipes as well 🙂

How do you go about DIY-ing your own gelish nails?

I’ve actually blogged a detailed entry on this before, so please read here if you are keen 🙂 It’s actually not that difficult, except if you have to remove your previous gelish nails on your own (which I’ve also included a step-by-step in that tutorial post) and if you have shaky/retarded left hand like mine. Other than that, it’s pretty simple and hassle-free with LED lamps!

Here’s the final result!

Photo 26-05-2013 10 26 44 PM Photo 26-05-2013 10 26 20 PM Photo 26-05-2013 10 28 01 PM

A thousand apologies for the poor reso and lighting. The picture doesn’t do justice for the colours. I mean it’s not 100% salon-standard quality, but it’s still acceptable and pretty for a DIY attempt! I shouldn’t be so hard on myself… HAHA!

The purple base colour is actually much lighter than you see in the pictures.

I love how both purple base and glitter colours have a tinge of blue undertones and slight shimmery sheen! Both colour combinations kinda reminds me of fairytale pixie magical dust… you know what I mean.

Googled some images on the China Glaze Tantalise me so you actually have a clearer view on the colour.

A little short review on the products and sellers.

lovely.desiires : Spillage in 1 of the 3 bottles I bought. Delivery was long as items were mailed from HongKong. Took abt 2 weeks. Seller’s customer service was acceptable. Nail polishes were cheap compared to other brands such as Gelish Harmony. Honestly, I do not think the brand matters as well as the product works well for you and proves its worth. So far, the 3 Laquee Rette glitter UV/gel nail polishes worked well for me 🙂 But I can’t be 100% sure if its authentic? Nevermind that, like I’ve said, as long as it works well for me, I don’t mind if it’s non-authentic or an inferior brand.

Crystalife : One of my favourite sellers on Qoo10! Her customer service is superb! Replies very promptly. Her items have proved their worth thus far. Bought the LED lamp, nail cleanse and acetone. She sells gelish nail polishes with brands such as Gelish Harmony and Artistic too (20$ ++) and other nail art tools.

DYON International : maintains sales both online on their FB page as well as retail flea market booth at Scape. Takes some time to reply queries via FB and some queries were left unanswered and ignored. But staff at the booth was alright. Prices for China Glaze and OPI were quite cheap. Gelish Harmony polishes were market price. Bought a better base coat for strengthening my soft brittle nails at 30$++ but didn’t prove its worth, but gotta continue using it, no choice.

So yes, I hope these reviews were of some help to you. Like I’ve always said, sharing is caring. 🙂

And yes, in conclusion, YOU CAN MIX NORMAL NAIL POLISHES WITH GELISH NAIL POLISHES in this sequence (apply gelish base coat – cure it under UV/LED lamp – apply normal nail polish (I applied 2 coats) – cure it under the lamp (IT ACTUALLY WORKS! HAHA!) – apply additional glitter/nail designs (optional) – cure it under the lamp – apply top coat (u can apply 2 coats – cure it under lamp – wipe with nail surface cleanse/lint wipes)

Just hope this combination lasts though 😉

HAVE FUN GIRLS! 😀

TGIF and Food Galore!

Finally… The day we have all been waiting for – FRIDAY!

I find it so amusing that our daily mood is greatly affected by the day of the week. It automatically gets elevated nearing the weekend.

I hate working life seriously but neither do I like a student’s life.

***

Did some DIY manicure on my own and it didn’t turn out as disastrous as before. I mixed gelish and normal nail polishes together since I’ve read many reviews that they do work together to help preserve the ‘life’ of the nail polishes.

Removed my previous gelish nails and applied the gelish base coat, normal polish (2 coats) and gelish top coat.

Not sure what brand this is but I reckon it must be from SaSa?

Used the UV lamp behind to dry the gelish nails. Am thinking of getting a LED lamp because the UV rays hurt my nails. Tried some LED lamps before at nail palours, some did sting while some worked perfectly fine for me. And it’s perfect for impatient people like me! It only takes 30secs to dry the nails while UV lamp requires approx 2 mins? Sometimes even longer.

My nails are soft and brittle, not sure if it’s due to genes or poor nutrition and that is why it would hurt under UV lamp.

But LED lamps are cheap as well. Heard that it costs around $300+?

I love art and crafts and designing, basically. But painting on your own nails ain’t easy, especially when you have a retarded left hand. I have shaky hands too. 😦

Used the Acetone remover behind to remove the previous set of gelish nails, together with the aluminium foils behind.

Have done up a step-by-step tutorial on removing gelish nails. You may read it here if keen 🙂

I got the Gelish Harmony nail polishes from D.Y.O.N International at Scape. They have a facebook page too, you may check it out for updates 🙂

I am not paid/sponsored for the nail polishes. Bought them on my own, together with another pinkish-red gelish nail polish and costs $80 in total. Gelish nail polishes ain’t cheap you know. I’ve also gotten my China Glaze nail polishes from DYON too 🙂 Sold quite cheaply. 3 for $20 🙂

Regretted painting the glitter snow globe over because it was kinda dried up and was clumpy. 😦

This was 2 days after application. You may not be able to tell that it has uneven clumpy areas but sadly, they do 😦

By the way, these are my real nails 🙂

The sides of some nails have chipped, but so far so good.

So yes, I guess getting gelish and normal nail polishes applied together do work. But may not turn out as effective and long-lasting than using all gelish nail polishes.

Had Ajisen Ramen for lunch yesterday and Bak Kut Teh for dinner on the same day.

I’m not really a fan of Ramen because firstly, being a small eater, I usually can’t finish the noodles. I managed to finish about 2/3 yesterday and that was when I’d forced myself to gobbled some more noodles more than I could take. Was extremely stuffed after that. Secondly, Ramen noodles is the same as maggie noodles to me.

But, I do love their soups. I am a soupy kind of person! 🙂

Bf and I had these for dinner yesterday and we ordered one too many dishes. Felt that the cereal chicken was quite pricey – $8 for small and $10 for big portions.

We couldn’t finish much of the dishes.

The bak kut teh soup was so-so only. I preferred those with the pepperish taste.

Saw on a food variety show that bak kut teh with the pepperish taste is the Singaporean style while the non-pepperish with a twist of sweetness taste originates from Malaysia.

I guess I must be a true blue Singaporean then 🙂

Last Saturday, bf and I decided to have our very own home-cooked steamboat for dinner 🙂

Steamboat is easy because there’s not much oil involved, not much cooking to be done (I suck at this!) and it’s rather healthy too! 🙂

Plus, having steamboat for 2 eases the competition of food-snatching!

Bf went to tabao Fried rice as well because he said that rice is essential. :S

A lazy Sunday tea break at Zam Zam.

No prata was available – totally loathe it when this happens because I usually get pratas if I’m dining at Muslim stores. Unless I’m really famished then I would order fried noodles.

Am not really a fan of other races’ food as well – but no offence, I’m not racist. 🙂

Just that most of their food are spicy and I can’t take spicy well for nuts.

I love how the photo frame is so apt! 🙂

Because I didn’t have the mood to blog recently, the following pictures are post-dated.

Birthday presents for mom 🙂

Almost everything was Spicy at Muthu’s Curry.

As mentioned, I’m not a fan of other races’ food and spicy food, so I didn’t really ate much and enjoy the food 😦

This was meant to celebrate my mom’s bday on the actual day. Not to be confused with the upcoming pictures below because sis and I decided to throw her a surprise bday celebration together with her siblings – my uncles and aunties on Sunday.

Mom was a little upset because we usually celebrate bdays on weekends rather than weekdays due to work and time-constraint. However, my family went on a vacation to Aussie the week before the actual bday, so we couldn’t celebrate an advanced bday for her. But did so on 2 days – actual weekday and a belated one on Sunday.

The surprise birthday dinner was held at Pu Tien.

Attended the dinner with a partially-filled tummy, so I didn’t eat much either.

Bro-in-law said that Pu Tien is famous for their mee sua which was not the usual thin noodles. Tasted so-so only. I’d preferred it to be saltier and richer in flavour. A little to bland for me.

The fried yam pieces on the 2nd last picture was my favourite because it was coated with honey and even though it’s wet, the crisp was still well-tasted! 🙂

Didn’t try the bittergourd. I am so not a fan of it!

We bought a bday cake from Rive Gauche!

It was quite nice and had crispy biscuit-like parts! Totally different from the usual bday cakes we have.

Tomorrow marks a very significant and meaningful date for us.

It’s our 5th year anniversary! ❤

We’ve made plans and even booked reservations at a romantic dining area.

I’ve even planned on what to wear which has to accommodate 2 different locations. 🙂

I can’t wait for tomorrow, I’m sure it would be filled with lots of love and laughters! ❤ 😀

Hope the updates are sufficient to compensate whatever lack of posts and personal touch I have on this blog! 🙂

Trying to act cute, act younger, act feminine.

I hardly cam-whore and act cute la, so give me the benefit of the doubt, will you? 😉

By the way, I will be sharing with you guys on where I get my contact lenses from. I’m extremely disappointed with the ones I have gotten from optical shops – Freshkon and Maxi lens. Encore ones are still alright. But the 1st 2 really cannot make it! :@

The $$ I spent on contact lenses I got from optical shops could have been spent better elsewhere or stock up from online shops!

So if you want comfortable lens that are priced reasonably that are safe for usage as well as to allure and enhance your sparkling eyes that melt hearts, do stay tuned! 🙂

Step-by-step Tutorial for the Removal of Gellish Nails

The only reason why girls opt for gellish nails is because of its durability. Gellish nails can last for weeks depending on how you maintain them. Of course, there will be empty spaces on your nail bed between your cuticles and the nail polishes as your fingernails grow over time. It may be unsightly but to me, what’s even more an eyesore would be how the gellish nails themselves, as in the designs and 3D designs do not last. Being anal and a selective perfectionist, such situation irks me. A little OCD there as well.

Manicure, we don’t just pamper our nails for the sake of pampering them, but also, I’m sure like most ladies, just by looking and admiring them day to day makes us happy! Such cheap thrills are easy happiness, don’t you think so? 😉

I did my gellish manicure with Priscilla at Nails Etcetera and I’d decided to remove them myself!

Removing gellish nails can be a pain in the ass! You will need alot of patience and strength to push out the softened gel nail polishes.

I googled for tips in removing gellish nails and Acetone nail polish removers are apparently used for that purpose. Using the normal nail polish removers will not work. This is also the reason why getting gellish nails done is also a hassle because you will have to head back to your manicurist to have them removed and which if it’s purely removal, there will be charges incurred. Most nail salons remove them for free only if you decide to continue engaging their manicure services.

I got my Acetone gel nail polish remover from Gmarket with this seller! Of course, like you, I do read up on reviews before ordering anything. So learn to shop smart! 🙂

The wonderful thing when ordering from this seller is that she provides instructions (very impt – but you can actually google it but thumbs-up for effort and customer service!) as well as the wooden sticks. She has mailed 5 wooden sticks which you would require to push out the gellish nail polishes once they are softened and weakened by the Acetone nail remover.

Essential equipments required :

1. Acetone nail polish remover

2. Wooden sticks

3. Cotton balls/pads (I didn’t have cotton balls so I’d used cotton pads instead)

4. Coarse nail filer

5. Aluminium foils

6. Smooth nail buffer

7. Cuticle oil ( I didn’t use this in the tutorial because I was just plain lazy =x But pls, do apply it if you have!)

Bf bought a set of the Onsen nail set for me few months back 🙂 I’ve always used this when I did my own manicure 🙂

Now as per the instructions, use the coarse nail filer to file the surface of your gellish nails till you get a rough surface. There will be alot of nail dust and might get a little messy, so do prepare some wet wipes just in case.

Next, damp the cotton pad/balls with the Acetone nail polish remover and make sure you apply sufficient amount, if not some areas might not be weakened and would be difficult to remove. After that, wrap it around the nail bed.

Now wrap it snugly with the aluminium foil around your whole fingernails. Make sure they are tightly secured otherwise, they might easily drop off and you would want to prevent any quick evaporation of the Acetone remover.

I know, they look like sausages ready to be BBQ-ed! 😀

Previously, Priscilla from Nails Etcetera  had gotten me to place my wrapped fingers into the UV nail lamp, but although I bought 1 myself, I didn’t use it. It was a little painful when I placed them in, so I thought I could make do without it.

Even without using the UV nail lamp, I felt a little tingling hot sensation.

You must also note that Acetone removers are harmful to your nails and some even disputed that they are harmful to your liver as well. But anyways, nails polishes and normal nail polish removers are harmful too. Basically, whatever chemicals you apply or consume (obviously referring to medicines and supplements!) generally, are not 100% beneficial to your body. 😉

You should see that your gellish nails partially peeled off. I didn’t apply sufficient Acetone that’s why the 1st application was not very successful. But since it was my virgin experience, I forgave myself 😛

Next, use the wooden stick to push the soft gellish nails.

I seriously loathe this step because it’s so difficult to push them out. I have soft brittle nails too so it’s like I’m totally ruining my nails. But then again, removal of gellish nails do destroy your nails!

See how cui they are? And this was even after when I buffed it with the soft buffer from Onsen!

And oh yes, I did cut my nails short as 1 of them broke before removing. Goodbye long nails 😦

I bet the 3rd step was redundant since I was going to repaint my nails anyway, but filing and smoothening them should do our nails good. At least the shininess made me happier somewhat (Self-denial).

From left to right : China Glaze Tantalise me, China Glaze Soft Globe and China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise (Used this on my toes nails!)

Of course, the essentials are not forgotten. Use them in every DIY manicure 🙂

From left to right : China Glaze Fast Freeze Quick Dry, Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base & Top Coat (Not really fancying this, need to source for better base coat. Any to recommend? :p) and China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat.

1. Apply base coat

2. Apply desired colour nail polish

3. Apply 2nd coat (esp if colour is faint)

4. Apply top coat

5. Apply snow globe nail polish

6. Apply top coat again

7. You can double apply top coat again if you want

8. Apply quick dry coat

I have very soft and brittle nails, so I have to apply several layers of top coat. I’ll have to apply nail hardeners soon too.

Result ?

I know I have ugly toes 😦

When worn with heels

I hope this DIY tutorial has helped you in one way or another! 😀

Thank you all for reading! 🙂 ❤

Sponsored Beauty Review – Nails Etcetera with Priscilla!

Hey guys! Remember my recent manicure session I was raving about?

Yes, gorgeous pictures are finally up! 😀

I picked these designs as I was looking for something sweet yet not too over and most importantly, appropriate for work as well! Sweet designs are always a safe choice to have on your nails 🙂

I absolutely love the floral prints! Super sweet and dainty! 🙂 ❤

Priscilla also sells a variety of cute 3D nail designs that guarantee durability 🙂
So many designs, shapes, colours and types, you would definitely be spoilt for choice! 🙂

Her work station is filled with coziness and warmth and efforts to make you feel at home as evident by the cooling fan and tv. You know how full manicure sessions can take up to 2 to 3 hours and having the tv right on helps to pass time quickly 🙂 You’ll be out in a jiffy!

Priscilla provides professional nail services at affordable prices and has 2 years of experience in this line. She’s also a graduate of the Pink Room Nail School and is thus qualified to pamper your nails! She’s also very friendly and easy-going so while waiting to get your nails done, you can chat up with her to pass time too! 🙂

In addition, we all know how annoying it can get with pushy sellers who try to hard sell us but definitely not with Priscilla, who upholds customer’s satisfaction and places customers’ needs as her top priority. What surprises me most is her gracious attitude towards customers. Providing manicure services does not come to an end when your nails are done as Priscilla would take the time and effort to explain and provide useful advice on your nails and how to maintain them. I was informed that my nails are really thin and brittle and hence, would have to take extra care of them by applying cuticle oil and nail hardeners.  😦

So, if you are looking for excellent professional nail services, why not give Nail Etcetera a try today?

Quote my name ‘Jean Gan’ to be entitled to 10% discount with Nail Etcetera!

We were invited back by The Prime Society last Friday for our complimentaries which the staff had forgotten to present us with when we had our first dining experience with them on our previous visit. As you recall in my previous post, I wasn’t very satisfied with their food and service quality but after notifying them that they had forgotten to deliver what they promised, their customer service was excellent! However, I have to say this. Arrangements were made via email correspondences all this while with one of their staff by the name of ‘Jiun’. Initially, she was alright but when my mobile had a little technical glitch (Singtel sucks!) and she as well as the manager of TPS couldn’t get me a few times during office hours, Jiun got a little fed up and her attitude and response wasn’t very pleasing. I was unaware that my mobile was unreachable because it was switched on and there were still signals going on. I realised that there might be some problems only when my whatsapp couldn’t connect for a long time (didn’t think much when it had connection problems as the reception at my office building kinda sucks). Oh wells.

Anyway, Eardley, the manager of TPS, was extremely nice and friendly. He was also very approachable.

Do note that TPS has recently changed their whole menu and we were told by Eardley that they changed it a few days later after our visit.

There were no longer any burgers with fries, a proper main course meal with sides. Rather, there were other special varieties of food. Eardley was very kind to recommend us some of the commendable entrees for starters. We ordered Entrees, a Main course meal and desserts. Champagne was also provided as compl

Picture

We were served bread twice and I wasn’t really fancying them because they fill up your tummy real fast! But nonetheless, bf and I liked the truffle butter! Tasty! 🙂
Picture

Our complimentary champagne! 🙂
Picture

Beef Tatami – really really nice! I think it’s smoked beef kinda taste. Initially, I’d thought the jelly cubes were nata de coco and bf thought was aloe vera, but no, they tasted like those usual jelly – something like ayu jellies.
Picture

This tasted quite good as well and kinda reminds of me those Chinese dumplings. The mushrooms tasted alright too 🙂
Picture

It’s filled with yummy succulent and juicy strips of beef! Really awesome! 🙂
Picture

We had some shells as well but the clams were so tiny and erm, sandy…
Picture

This dish was the first that caught my eye when I saw the menu which we ordered as our main course. It’s actually ‘lau shu fen’ (rat tail-like shape) and I was quite taken aback since it’s a Chinese local delight where you can find in food courts and coffee shops. It comes with a cod fish and the soup tasted just like the miso soup from Japanese restaurant.
Picture

Now, the desserts were a quite disappointing. We could have settled for something better like Ben and Jerry’s which was nearby TPS. The varieties of desserts were quite limited and none of them actually suit my preference. Bf ordered this chocolate with popcorn (?!) and those green stuffs are actually disgusting herbal mint paste and those eye-like seeds are from the dragon fruits I guess…The chocolate tasted quite alright and ONLY THE CHOCOLATE.
Picture

Some Chestnut ice cream, with citrus fruits and cinnamon donut-like bread. I must first comment that the fruits were extremely sour!!! And yes, the sour levels do go accordingly to the colour of the fruits! The pale green was extremely sour and even as I’m noting this down, I’m actually salivating? Not because it’s delicious but the sourness is just oh so power-packed!The ice cream didn’t carry much of the chestnut flabour and the donut-like was filled with cinnamon! And I HATE CINNAMON! But I forced myself to gooble 1 down anyway since I was already halfway at it. But I must rave on the softness of the bread. Really really soft! But the cinnamon had to spoil it all… 😦

Also, the desserts took a little longer than the others to be served. I guess it must be due to the crowd which started flowing in at around 9?

Overall, it was a memorable dining experience with TPS and was so much better than the previous visit.

I might just give it another shot if given the chance 🙂

HAPPY TGIF AND NOTD ! 🙂

Had an early birthday celebration dinner for my sister last Sunday at Nosh Restaurant located at 9 Rochester Park. The first impression of Rochester Park reminds me of a mini Dempsey Hill, though it’s situated away from the City. It’s located at Buona Vista. Bf and I took a cab there while it was pouring and I was holding on to the birthday cake, or rather, bf was 🙂When we alighted, the restaurant had different areas. We had to climb up the wet stair case and dined on the 2nd level. Not very impressive to me. It was dark at night with candle-lights around which seems an interesting place for romance. But other than that, most of the times, I couldn’t make out what I was eating.

A little background info on Nosh. It serves Western Modern European cuisine which is open for brunches, lunches, dinners and even suppers! It’s actually located near Ministry of Education and Buona Vista MRT, but I do not suggest for you to walk over because it’s just not walkable-friendly. It is relatively a newly established restaurant that offers great relaxing ambience. You may choose to dine during the afternoons or evenings, but I woudn’t patronise them again at night since it’s rather dark. Did a little research on this restaurant and managed to find another blog review on it. As you can see, pictures taken during the day seemed so much better. We didn’t manage to walk around because it was rather dark and there was work the next day 😦

Anyway, pictures for your visual pleasure 🙂

The varieties of food choices were not to my liking so I had settled for the good old creamy pasta! The large pieces of cheese were great but the chicken had some fats attached to it and being weight-conscious, I usually remove skins and fats of any meat I consume.

When it comes to food, I am really one boring fart. I can eat almost the same food everyday and drink only certain drinks. Ask my family, friends and colleagues and they will tell you. I’m a simple person who doesn’t ask for much when it comes to food. I’m not really the adventurous sort who would try out exotic food that are out of my comfort zone. So, overall I thought the chicken pasta I had was quite alright, although creamy pasta makes you sick of it after awhile. I fancied the bacon too.

Other than that, the staff didn’t impress me much and the time taken to serve the food was quite long, although there wasn’t much crowd.

Thus, if I decide to patronise them again, I would definitely go in the day/evening and request to be seated inside. It looks really comfy based on this blogger’s pictures 🙂

Nail of the Day!

– OPI Dutch Mini Collection – Kiss on my tulips (pink)
– China Glaze – Flying Dragon (Neon) (purple) – if you google on its swatches, many reviews would pop up to say that it’s not really a neon colour and it dries up real fast! Although the colour in the bottle is really pretty in neon purple with blue glitter effect, it somehow doesn’t produce the same effect when swatched. 😦
