Gmarket/Qoo10 Shops to BOYCOTT (Part II)!!!

Further to my previous post (Part I), here is another shop on Gmarket/Qoo10 you might wanna consider boycotting. If I were to rank these 2 shops, this 2nd shop is a tad better than PrettyCloset (aka prettycloset.sg).

2. C-Life is the name of the shop.

In the end, I didn’t get a refund from him/her because I can’t be bothered anymore, plus he wanted my PayPal account which I thought was kinda troublesome and I know that there are additional charges involved for PayPal transactions.

So the whole timeline sequence goes like this :

Note, it was my 2nd time buying from this shop because I have had good experience during my 1st purchase. Both orders were on portable chargers for iPhone and the latter purchase was for bf, who also bought an adaptor and pouch on top of the portable charger.

Problems faced : Wrong colour for charger given. Didn’t send out adaptor. Pouch was ok. Cable for portable charge faulty, very loose, can’t charge properly and hence, always gets disconnected.

Already provided him the order number like several times and he still kept asking for it. See the dates.

Okay, end of story.

I did not provide him my paypal account but after learning that you can actually cancel the order and refund the $ to the buyer via the Qoo10 platform which  PrettyCloset actually told me, perhaps I should do get the person to do that. Or maybe just let the matter rest altogether.

In any case, this C-Life is definitely tad better than PrettyCloset, but both of them are definitely going into my blacklist.

You may also read on the bad reviews on Gmarket, especially on its slow delivery, missing items and faulty items for PrettyCloset and C-Life.

I may just add another shop to my blacklist. Will see how.

Hopefully by pointing them out would do my readers some good.

I have replied to a comment left on this blog entry regarding irresponsible sellers and I have taken the effort to check back on one of them –  PrettyCloset.

Naturally, reading even more bad reviews from other  buyers who experienced terrible customer service as well as didn’t receive items from this seller didn’t surprise me one bit. Rather, it affirms my stand.

I hope the person who left the comment would read the reviews of others as well before pointing fingers.

Gmarket/Qoo10 Shops to BOYCOTT (Part I – Pretty Closet contd)!!!

Mentioned in my previous post on the same seller on Gmarket that I will be updating on this juicy bit, so here it is!

So if you would recall on the last encounter I had with this seller PrettyCloset (aka prettycloset.sg), my inquiry was replied with a full stop on Gmarket website.

No reply after my last message on Thursday 6th Dec… No updates on Friday (which they claimed they sent out the item).. Texted seller on 8th Dec afternoon no reply and finally gotten a reply at night.. 7hrs later after I texted him/her again.

My last message was very clear which was for them to update me when my item is sent out, but no, they failed to.

And the war begins..

“I do not wish to start an argument with you” – perfecto!

Yadayada…

You’re not interested? I’m not interested either.

The person thinks I didn’t shoot inquiries online… dumbass!

If you don’t wish for any so-called nuisance to reach you via your mobile, then why the f did you put it up online for the 1st place to allow customers to reach you?! Brainless.

Look at how this seller replies to customers. Few dollars, then why do you wanna scam and get yourself into trouble for these few bucks?

Can’t even spell ‘scam’ correctly, a real scum indeed!

I didn’t know typing in caps is illegal and this person seriously is damn fking rude. Donation! I don’t think I need to be donated anything? Not especially when I PAID FOR THE ITEM.

Yawns, seriously bored me out.

I didn’t bother replying his/her stupid last message. But a surprise came last midnight while I was snoozing away but got awoken by this ‘sweet’ msg.

I counter-checked and true enough, I didn’t opt for registered postage because there was no option for that! I assumed I had opted that because I’ve always opted for registered postage for ALL my online purchases. There were only speedpost and normal postage options, so yes I do admit that it’s my bad. But then again, if I didn’t opt for registered postage, why did the person confirmed that the 1st 2 leggings were sent via registered postage? Honestly, I don’t remember if they were sent via normal postage or registered one because I didn’t take much notice, but I’m more inclined to say that they sent via normal postage than registered since they didn’t have that option for me to choose from. It certaintly didn’t arrive in speedpost postage.

Covered the pic as my personal details are stated there.

Firstly, you didn’t promise me anything. Secondly, I totally doubt your identity (person replying told me that there are different person-in-charge for replying online, replying sms-es etc and he/she is just a delivery person/worker. He/she also said that the person replying online to Qoo10 inquiries is the boss.) Thirdly, maybe ‘great’ feedback was tainted with sarcasm. Fourthly, ‘thank you for your business’ seemed a little odd for me. Perhaps reading this article would be beneficial to you?

Lastly, since I can’t confirm that there are 2/3 different people replying to me, I can only deduce :

  1. It’s the same person but with split personality and bipolar symptoms
  2. The person experienced some karma
  3. Some godly figure enlightened him/her
  4. Mama told him/her it’s wrong to find fault with customers especially when it’s the seller’s fault to begin with
  5. He/she is truly apologetic for the bad experience

Anyways, I still stand firm and expect to receive the maroon leggings by this week and actually I am giving this seller the benefit of the doubt by granting him 5days grace period, when actually I should expect it today (Monday) or latest Wednesday.

Whatever the case is, beware of this seller.

By the way as mentioned in my previous post,  PrettyCloset on Gmarket/Qoo10 is the same seller as prettycloset.sg as seen from the shop info on Gmarket on its contact details (email add) which is the same as the one on prettycloset.sg.

P.S. : For those who think that I should let the matter rest by removing the posts, save it. I’m not gonna do that since by alerting potential customers will be doing a favour, a good deed, don’t you think?

Gmarket/Qoo10 Shops to BOYCOTT (Part I – Pretty Closet )!!!

Updated as of 8th Dec : Will be including updates on the latest correspondences I have had with this stupid seller. So stay tuned. Most importantly, things got worse and I urge you guys to BOYCOTT this shop rather than to treat it as a consideration.

Apart shopping on Taobao.com, I’ve been shopping on Gmarket/Qoo10 as well, especially for beauty items since the former doesn’t allow liquid stuffs to be sent via the customs.

Anyways, here is a list of recommended shops on Gmarket (I still prefer using this name) as well as THOSE YOU SHOULD BOYCOTT based on my personal bad experience with them (with regards to quality of items/customer service/delivery time) WITH EVIDENCE as proof!

Let’s start off with shops WHICH YOU SHOULD BOYCOTT!

1. PrettyCloset (aka prettycloset.sg)

Silly me bought from her the 2nd time without realising it’s the same shop which provided super lousy customer service.

1st incident – Ordered on 13th Sept 2012 – a pair of undergarments from her but realised that I missed out the delivery (I admit this is due to my own fault) by Singpost post man, so I requested for another redelivery. But during this period, I have been trying to liase with her on Gmarket as well as SMS (prompt replies) but she takes a very long time to reply on Gmarket as well as not bothered to help me retrieve my items. I had to call Singpost myself which did not provide any better customer service. The officer told me that he would have to get back to me on this because there was no return address and the item was sent to some warehouse area, think it has been a month and till now, no news from them either. Seller didn’t even bother to check if I’d received my items.

NEH MIND. Partly my fault for missing the delivery (maid wasn’t home).

Her replies were prompt initially…

WORSE THING IS, seller didn’t even bother to INCLUDE THE TRACKING NUMBER. I paid for registered postage, hello?

There is a reason as to why buyers opt for registered postage over normal postage – to provide greater security as most sellers will not be responsible for any lost/damaged parcels sent via normal postage and registered postage provides a tracking number which you can track the status of the parcel via Singpost website.

Nope, nothing from her.

Requested many times for the tracking number but she still either ignored/refused to/couldn’t provide.

*Disclaimer* : Just in case anyone maligns me of disclosing personal information in public, the seller’s contact details can be found in the shop info on the Gmarket website.

 

SMS-es correspondences between us :

 

You can tell that she doesn’t even know what she’s saying. I wont be able to get hold of the beat no. if I do not have the redelivery notice with me which would also state the tracking number as well. But I can’t be certain that this tracking number belongs to her parcel because she failed to provide me any and as mentioned, I’ve other pending parcels waiting to be delivered as well.

12th Oct – All SMS-es were sent and replied and after my last message, no reply. Replied on the 15th Oct, 5days after my online inquiry on Gmarket.

And that’s it. No reply from her. No reply from Singpost either.
Moving on…

2nd incident – Ordered on 14th Oct 2012 – Was looking out for leggings and stupidly ordered from the same seller again (yes, my stupidity! I don’t give sellers a second chance…) ONLY 2 out of 3 came. And seller was very DISHONEST!!!

Apparently, I checked back on the status of the items and realised that it was the same shitty seller and what made me even more upset was that she was dishonest to state that she sent the items out on a particular date but in actual fact, it was 11 days LATER. I could check from Singpost, hello? Customers are not stupid and definitely NOT ME.

TOOK ONE WEEK TO GET BACK TO ME

‘Today’ technically meant 27th Nov or giving her benefit of the doubt, 28th Nov…

BUT till now, 7th Dec 2012… NO REPLIES NOR UPDATES.

Pending item DID NOT ARRIVE.

Sent her one last message yesterday, asking for refund.. Will update on her reply, IF ANY that is.

One tiny little full stop was the main culprit of the final straw and so I sms-ed her :

She trying to di gong and geh siao!

Notice my tone is harsher than before because it’s really infuriating !!!

I’m not too sure whether to believe her or not, but I gave her benefit of the doubt and directed her to my order which I snapped a picture of from the screenshot. Different people, but don’t partners/co-workers communicate??? She’s not even aware of what is going on???
Honestly, I don’t believe her crap.

There, my reply to her… and after that till now, NO REPLY FROM HER ANYMORE! And I know ‘this’ should be ‘these’, but I just couldn’t think straight when I was burning with anger!!

Goodbye and farewell my maroon leggings and undergarments… Perhaps we weren’t meant to be! 😥

Bottom line : PLEASE BOYCOTT PRETTYCLOSET ON GMARKET!!!

Of course, there are good reviews as well, but if you can’t guarantee that you won’t be as unlucky as me and the rest, try to boycott this seller if possible. I do acknowledge the fact that there are risks attached to online shopping and buyers should order in their own discretion but then again, opting registered postage and items not sent is totally a major turn off of buyers! >=[

Psst, I don’t mean to sound like a rude customer and I acknowledge the fact that customers ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT neither are SELLERS ALWAYS WRONG, but I’m quite sure many of you will be able to empathise my situation, no?

After ranting so much, I think I shall save the rest for other parts to come… Before I get all hyped up and burst into flames!
