[Beauty Tools Part 3] My Everyday Look – Make Up and Panasonic Multi-Styling Straightener EH-HW58-K

Hi girls!

Today I will be sharing with you a comprehensive step-by-step for my ‘everyday look’ which involves minimal make-up as well as styling my hair using the Panasonic Multi-Styling Straightener EH-HW58-K.

Photo 30-7-14 4 44 19 pm

Don’t we all look like this when we wake up first thing in the morning?

Dull oily skin with messy hair?

Let me show you how to achieve a presentable look, with nothing too much or little and yet still look gorgeous in a short period of time! 🙂

These are the make-up stuffs which I used.

Photo 30-7-14 5 34 05 pm

This includes of the following :-

1. Chanel Foundation Compact Powder Vitalumiere Eclat

2. Silkygirl Shimmer Duo Blusher

3. Etude House Face Highlight

4. Canmake Highlighter

5. Missha Under-eye Concealer

6. Makeon Brown Shimmer Eyeliner

5. Shimmer White Eyeliner

6. Bourjois Ultra Black Liquid Eyeliner

7. Bourjois Brown Eyebrown Pencil

8. theBalm Bronzer

9. 2 Brushes – 1 for contouring and 1 for applying blusher

First after bathing and cleansing your face thoroughly after a night’s sleep, ensure your hands are clean before wearing your contacts.

Photo 30-7-14 4 52 08 pm

I opt for a more natural looking design with enlarging the pupil effect.

Starting out with my bare face with just my contact lens on.

Photo 30-7-14 4 53 36 pm

Applying sunblock before makeup is a MUST and I’m currently using Biore UV Bright Face Milk [Pink] Sunblock with an SPF of 50++.

sunblock

Then I start applying the Chanel Compact Powder. Remember to apply it downwards as you do not want to clog your pores. Only apply upwards for substances that contains nutrients such as moisturiser and essence.

Photo 30-7-14 4 56 55 pm

Next, line your eye thinly.

Photo 30-7-14 4 59 36 pm

Photo 30-7-14 5 00 07 pm

Then draw your eyebrows.

Photo 30-7-14 5 05 04 pm

Photo 30-7-14 5 05 58 pm

Hehe, I know my eyebrows need some trimming…and recently I have hopped onto the ulzzang look for eyebrows!

And then conceal your dark circles and blemishes.

Photo 30-7-14 5 07 45 pm

Use a brown eyeliner to line your below your eyes and join them to the upper eyeliner on the sides.

And then stick on fake eyelashes.

Now this is optional, you may opt for a more simple look without putting on fake eyelashes or may prefer applying mascara for a more natural look, which I have blogged about in my previous blog post.

Photo 30-7-14 5 21 43 pm

Contour your nose if you prefer.

Photo 30-7-14 5 22 22 pm

Blend it well and apply highlighter on your forehead, nose bridge, undereyes, chin as well as on your laugh lines.

Photo 30-7-14 5 24 08 pm

Draw the inner eye corners with the shimmery white eyeliner for the innocent doe-eyed look as well as ‘open’ up your eyes, resulting in livelier eyes!

Photo 30-7-14 5 26 09 pm

Apply blusher.

Photo 30-7-14 5 27 12 pm

You may apply outwards and upwards for a slimmer looking face or apply it at the bottom of your cheekbones.

For the hair, I straightened my hair using the Panasonic Multi-Styling Straightener EH-HW58-K which generously offers a 6-in-1 styling hair designs.

Using the same method in my video tutorial and steps mentioned in my previous blog post using the Nano Straightener, slide it down straight instead of curling. This should be much easier than curling.

And…TADAH!

What does it mean to be a beauty blogger?

Anyone can be a blogger these days but being a ‘power blogger? That is a totally different issue. Being a beauty blogger is one who shares beauty tips and reviews with the readers, who are substantially females. However, that is not to say that men aren’t welcomed either since there is now a growing trend and demand by men on beauty and aesthetic services. This is understandable because everyone wants to look their best! 🙂

To be honest, I was on the verge of giving up on this ‘Best Beauty Blog’ contest because I had ZERO knowledge and experience in creating videos and editing them, as well as ZERO hands-on experience using the hair stylers. I was actually one of the few who was struggling using the styler, even during the Beauty Workshop with Panasonic Singapore. Also, you could see that I still struggled my way through in my video tutorial on using the Panasonic EH-HS95-K Nanocare Straightener. However, I did not edit those ‘NG’ (‘Not Good’) parts because I believe in putting an honest front and moreover, I am not a professional make-up or hair stylist and started off knowing zilch to creating the full works!

I pressed on not only because I love challenges but also because of the encouragements given by my family and friends. For that, I deeply appreciate it. 🙂

Because of this contest, I have learnt so much within such a short period of time.

This includes creating videos which I have been wanting to do for the longest time and now, I can start creating more vlogs! Vlogs are more useful for beauty bloggers in a way because processes of using beauty tools can be more accurately and clearly portrayed compared to using only pictures, which can be a hassle to snap at every stage. My ‘Everyday Makeup Look’ had only pictures instead of videos because I am down with a sore throat and cough. Even during the video tutorial on ‘How to put on fake eyelashes fast’, I was sick and had to suppress my cough which occurs every 10 mins or so. It was tough, I must admit. Till now, I am still suffering from a bad sore throat and cough 😦

Apart from these skills, I had also learnt and understood better issues such as the importance of networking, those who would conscientiously root and vote for you and those who aren’t that willing to do so, and also how to use the hair beauty tools which I made the effort to watch countless of videos.

I am thankful for this opportunity for being one of the finalists for ‘Best Beauty Blog’ and special thanks go out to Panasonic Singapore and OMY.sg in organising this Singapore Blog Awards. Of course, not forgetting to my voters and Facebook fans as well. ❤ 😀

If you love reading my blog and my beauty tips and reviews, do vote for me! :)

[Beauty Review] L’Oreal – False Lash Architect 4D Fibre Effect Mascara Waterproof Formula

As mentioned in my previous beauty review of Love Alpha Mascara, I’m currently using another Mascara which claims to lengthen and volumise at the same time. Definitely what I need for my short and sparse eyelashes!

My natural eyelashes are extremely short and it’s that short till whenever I try to curl, I’ll either press onto my own eyelids (OUCH!) or that the eyelashes cannot even extend to the point where it can be seen.

Don’t get what I mean?

Just take a look at the pictures below.

Photo 30-5-14 8 11 11 am (1)

Photo 30-5-14 8 12 17 am

Yeah, hello fine lines 😦

So yes anyway, that is after curling… pathetic isn’t it?

But after using eyelash serums (yeah I’m using 2, damn kiasu right?), which I will blog about in my upcoming post, my natural eyelashes have grown – lengthened and volumised! More new lashes have been sprouting out too. 🙂

Really happy about it and I thought that maybe it’s time I can try and abandon my fake eyelashes, and I have not been using them recently, unless I’m really really lazy to apply mascara and remove it after that or if I really want a more dramatic effect for events like clubbing (which I hardly go now)?

And…although many have commented that my fake eyelashes are quite natural looking, some even thought I applied mascara on my own eyelashes, I don’t like the label of being ‘fake’. And what is more amusing is that, after I have stopped using them and decided to wear them on again, I felt that my eyelids were heavier.

It’s really strange, isn’t it?

I thought that I should have already gotten used to the feeling which I really did after wearing them for so many years, and when I didn’t use them for a short while, I couldn’t get used to it. -_-”

Anyway, I read online that if you have short lashes, you should look out for those with fibre that help to lengthen your eyelashes. And if you have sparse ones, you need to volumise them.

But if you are kiasu like me (my eyelashes are actually more of the ‘short’ kind in relation to the ‘sparse’ kind), I got a mascara which consists of both functions – lengthening and volumising! Short and sparse eyelashes – I guess most Asian girls face this problem.

Oh and did I mention that even my bf has longer eyelashes than mine?!

-_-”

And we’d always joke about getting them curled by me which he agrees without any hesitation (not sure if he’s joking?!).

So anyway, here is how the L’Oreal – False Lash Architect 4D Fibre Effect Mascara Waterproof Formula looks like :

Photo 30-5-14 10 10 40 am

Photo 30-5-14 10 10 10 am

Photo 30-5-14 10 10 19 am

The wand is a straight wand and not the curved one, which I prefer.

After application of 1st layer of coat :

Photo 30-5-14 8 16 32 am

Haha, don’t ask me why they look so unbalanced. This picture was really taken after the 1st layer. I guess it must be the difference in volume of eyelashes for my both eyes. My left eye’s eyelashes are more sparse and lesser than my right eye’s 😦

After 2nd coat :

Photo 30-5-14 8 18 48 am

I know it still looks unbalanced despite the same number of coatings 😦

If you are wondering why didn’t I apply properly at the inner lashes, well that’s because they are too short to be curled! I am always having difficulties trying to curl my lashes, especially the ones near to my inner eyes 😦

A before and after comparison :

eyelash

Let’s see what I like and dislike about this mascara.

Pros :

  1. Lengthens my eyelashes
  2. Volumises my eyelashes
  3. Does not clump easily! I really like this mascara for the fact that it hardly ever clumps! Unlike the Love Alpha Mascara, but I must say that because of the natural fibre from Love Alpha Mascara, the lengthening effect it can provide is definitely better than this L’Oreal – False Lash Architect 4D Fibre Effect Mascara.

Cons :

  1. Lengthens with limitations – does not provide fake eyelash/dramatic effect. However, I’ve seen reviews that it works very well for other girls 😦 It may be because they have long eyelashes to begin with? Or perhaps they applied a thick coating? But I’m not keen in applying so many layers on my eyelashes because it looks too fake and also because…read my next point
  2. It is difficult to remove! Because it’s waterproof (which you can now tell its pros and cons), it makes it difficult to be removed. I have been using Biore Makeup remover wipes to remove them and it always takes a long time to remove them completely, compared to having fake eyelashes on. Amazingly, Love Alpha Mascara is easier to remove but I guess that’s because it may not be waterproof?
  3. Volumise with limitations as well
  4. May be pricey to some – if I recalled correctly, I got this at Watsons for around close to S$30? Love Alpha Mascara  only cost me $11.90 (without postage fees) from Qoo10, although authenticity cannot be 100% guaranteed.

For now, I’ll continue using the Loreal mascara and at the same time, religiously apply the eyelash tonic serum and patiently wait for my natural eyelashes to grow more and longer.

*crosses fingers*

4 stars

If this could really lengthen and volumise further, I’ll definitely give it a 5 star!

[Beauty Review] Love Alpha Fibre Mascara

I have been wearing falsies/fake eyelashes for quite some time now, approx for 6 years? Haha! And I’ve been wanting to stop wearing them for a more natural look but because my natural eyelashes are extremely short, I have been trying to grow them out wish eyelash serum and tonic. Results can  be said to be effective but nothing fantastic. More on that later.

While I was “window-shopping” on Qoo10, I chanced upon this highly raved mascara – Love Alpha Fibre MascaraJust so you know that this isn’t a paid advertorial or sponsorship. I paid $11.90 +$1.50 normal postage fee for it which amounts to $13.40.

A few bucks more expensive than its promo price.

Photo 15-5-14 7 09 34 pm

The packaging is indeed pretty and although there are other mascaras which comes in such packaging, this is my first time seeing this!

This is how it looks when applied :

Photo 16-5-14 12 54 55 pm

Photo 16-5-14 12 54 59 pm

Photo 16-5-14 12 56 01 pm

Now, for the reviews…

Pros :

  1. It really does lengthen and volumise your lashes
  2. Easy to apply with minimal steps
  3. Pretty packaging

Cons :

  1. I really loathe how it clumps, clumps and keeps on clumping! I’ve tried twice and 4 times altogether (because you have a pair of eyes?) but it still clumps….
  2. The correct method is to apply the fiber at mid-length and ends of the lashes but…it still clumps!
  3. 2-way method is definitely more troublesome than those mascaras which already have fibre in them – am now trying another mascara from Loreal, will blog about it soon 🙂
  4. Seller claims its authentic but I can guarantee and her attitude and customer service is not fantastic as reflected in the reviews
  5. Takes a longer time to apply compared to other mascara – definitely not for those rushing in the morning to work

Will I recommend this product?

The answer is NO.

It may be cheap but I can’t guarantee the authenticity despite the authenticity sticker and clumping mascara is definitely a BIG NO-NO! I don’t know if the problem lies with me or what but some others didn’t face this problem, and perhaps practice does make perfect…?

Beauty Review : Maybelline The Magnum Volum Express Cat Eye Mascara

Hello ladies! It’s been some time since I last did a beauty review and sincere apologies because I’ve been kinda busy and also lazy to try out new products! I don’t even mask at home anymore with mask sheets or clay masks! I know, I’ve been terribly lazy. And that is on top of the fact that I don’t even go for facials. Hahaha, but thank god for my naturally good skin and the Derma-X products that I have been using ever since for almost 3 months now! 🙂

Today’s review will be on mascaras! I don’t usually apply mascara because I’ll have my falsies on and that’s good enough for me. I don’t even bother to curl my own lashes, apply mascara and ‘join’ them with the falsies for a more natural look. Initially, when I first tried on falsies, I attempted to follow that step-by-step theory but has since given up because my natural lashes are so short that even when I curl them, they do not curl at all. I can’t even see any lashes exceeding the eyelids area! Moreover, I have single eyelids and so it doesn’t make any difference whether I curl them or not. Of course, if one looks closely into my eyes or from a close-up of my side view, you can see the two layers – my natural lashes and the falsies.

So, if I were to use mascaras, I would only apply on the lower lashes.

I was previously using Maybelline the Falsies Volum’ Express and Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus Mascara.

And recently, I bought a new mascara from Maybelline – Maybelline The Magnum Volum Express Cat Eye Mascara which I will be reviewing today! 🙂

Following the global success of  The Magnum Volum’ Express  mascara,  which sold  1 unit every 1.7  seconds around the world, Maybelline New York’s  eye experts   have developed yet another groundbreaking and innovative  product:  The Wild Cat Eyes  Waterproof Mascara.  In tune with the hottest  trends from the catwalk,  this newest revolution in volume mascara plumps up your lashes by up to 7 times, thus delivering the most striking of feline lashes.

Thanks to the pioneering design of the  Claw Brush and a collagen-infused formula, every lash is reached, extended, and stretched outwards. The result? Lashes that are plumped    up to 7  times the volume for a tantalizing feline gaze.

This is not the newest mascara that Maybelline has, it is actually the Maybelline New York Rocket Mascara. I looked at the info provided and thought that I am actually looking for more volumizing masacaras since my natural lashes are short and sparse, even for my lower ones. Clumping is somehow secondary.

And because of the ‘7x’ volumizing effect claimed compared to the  Falsies Volum’ Express, I decided to go ahead with this.

20130913-034036 PM.jpg

20130913-034040 PM.jpg

Its brush is slightly curve and I like it that way because I find it easier to apply compared to those straight ones, especially when applying on the lower lashes, it gets quite tricky. Of course, you may use a name card and place it under your eyelids and lashes and apply, so that it would smudge or touches your skin.

And the result?

20130913-034030 PM.jpg

You can see there are still clumps here and there, especially on my left eye. Actually, it was more clumpy previously and I decided to retry.

It is true that by shaking your hand, or rather the mascara applicator stick left and right prevents clump. I do it the lazy way, I tried to shake my head left and right instead. HAHAHAHA.

And it works. The picture above is actually the aftermath of that and it is less clumpy, as seen from my right eye (on ur left).

I think it is still too early to accurately review if this mascara causes clumps or not because it also depends on one’s skills. I shall continue to use that ‘shaking’ technique when applying so as to provide a more accurate review that is justifiable to the product.

Apart from that, it does help to volumize and lengthen the lashes. Actually, more of the latter. But 7x seems a little too overzealous and exaggerated because I don’t see much difference compared to the Falsies Volum’ Express. But if I recall correctly, both of them cost the same.

Beauty Review – Limited Edition My Beauty Diary Orange Blossom & White Lotus Moisturising Mist

I have a HOLY GRAIL beauty product to share!!! And yes, am extremely excited about this! I blogged briefly on this before previously but this product deserves a solo blog post! 🙂

Are you looking to achieve dewy radiant skin? Thinking of ways to brighten up your dull-looking skin?

Does your make-up coverage disappoint? Do you then have to constantly touch-up on your make-up, especially your foundation?

I have found a product which helps eliminate these worries and achieve your beautiful flawless skin!

Mentioned previously where I’d got hold of this HG before, from an online beauty shop – Sunnanz 🙂

It was a prize won via their Instagram contest 🙂

So yes, am not advertising for them, neither was it a sponsorship. It was a prize and a really worthy one. Worthy enough to be featured and raved about on my blog! 🙂

Directions to use :

Spray 2 to 3 pumps/spitz about 20-30cm away from your face directly.

Use it on a cleansed face and before applying make up. I still have no courage to spray on after applying make-up for the fear of clogging and cake-ing my foundation. But applying it before really helps alot!

My steps :

1. Cleanse face

2. Apply toner (you can skip if you want to – for now I am experimenting whether applying toner is beneficial for my own skin, although I did write up a blog post previously which affirmed otherwise. I will revert back to my toner regime if my skin condition worsens).

3. Apply essence/serum (you may skip this if you have oily skin) – wait for it to dry and absorb

4. Spray on the facial mist (2 to 3 times) – wait for it to dry and absorb

5. Apply moisturiser – wait for it to dry and absorb

6. Apply your make-up

With this facial mist inculcated into my skin care regime and before my make-up application, I find lesser need to touch up on my make-up throughout the day. In addition, my face looks dewy and radiant, with the matt look. I really love it because my T-zone doesn’t produce that much sebum/oil anymore.

Do you know why pores produce sebum/oil on its own? One of the main reasons is because of the lack of moisture and hence, the skin has to regulate the moisture content by producing natural oil.

So, if you use proper skincare for your skin type as well as moisturise/hydrate yourself adequately, you will tend to see less oil being produced.

I’m quite sure you can spray on after your make-up application, just to constantly moisturise and brighten your skin.

PLUS IT SMELLS REALLY FRAGRANT TOO!!! 😀

Think the product is sold at Sasa too 🙂

Sunnanz doesn’t sell them because it’s a limited edition product, so I guess I was lucky! Will drop by Sasa one of these days to check it out! 🙂

*Remember to always let whatever you applied on your face to set, dry and be absorbed first before applying your make-up, to prevent any caking. Don’t rush into it or you might have to remove your make-up and redo from the start again.

ENJOY YOUR LOVELY NEW SKIN! 😀 ❤

***

Psst, I am also trying out Skin&Lab’s Vita Energy Toner & Mist. I am using it as a mist first as mentioned that I am skipping the toner step for experiment purposes for the time being.

Will review shortly, so stay tuned! 🙂

Was invited to take up this offered sponsorship by Ambroxial.com and to choose an item from their online shop. Being a make up fanatic, I chose cosmetics over apparels naturally.
(It’s actually also because I have an overwhelming lot of clothes! =x)

They are very generous to throw in some cute little stickers as freebies as well. Greatly appreciated! 🙂

Compact Powder vs Liquid Foundation

There are too many terminologies to remember for foundation and powders and many ladies, like myself, often get ourselves confused.

Let me clear the air once and for all.

Foundations are meant for coverage purposes and this includes BB Cream and Liquid foundations.

Compact/pressed powders are meant for light coverage or touch up purposes.

Another term which we might have come across would be a 2-way cake foundation. This can be used on damp face or applying with a damped sponge.

For me, I have been using compact powders ever since I’d started on make up, but there was once which I had tried using liquid foundation and thus, would like to share my experience with you.

Picture

If I recall correctly, my first and LAST liquid foundation was from Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation. It’s not that this product is lousy or anything, but I would like to indulge on the fact that I would prefer compact powders over liquid foundation any time, anywhere.

I had used Maybelline’s compact powder and have since switched over to Chanel’s compact powder after I was given a generous amount of sample kits by a friend who works at Chanel 🙂
For the comparison between these 2 brands, you may wish to read it here 🙂

Picture

Picture

Reasons why I prefer compact powders over liquid foundation :

1. As mentioned, although liquid foundation provides a better and greater coverage, as I do not require such heavy make up, light coverage powders work well for me. I do not have any serious blemishes or scars to cover up so compact powders are fine. But let’s say if I do have an annoying pimple that pops up over the night, I would use a concealer to gently pat over them and try to conceal them as much as possible, after which, I would gentle pat my compact powder over so that it does not seem all too obvious. I’m using the Loreal True Match Concealer 🙂

2. The main reason for choosing compact powders is because lesser hassles are involved. Although I’d prefer using my fingers over sponges so that I can have a better control of application, it is actually too messy. Your fingers get dirty and if you have long nails like mine, the liquid foundation gets stuck inside your nails and you would have a hard time digging and washing them off. Using a sponge is so much easier. But for concealers, I do dab on the targetted spot using the tip of the fingernails. I guess that would be difficult when applying liquid foundations.

3. I cringe at ladies who apply heavy make up. Remember, make ups are meant to enhance your features and as for foundations, they are not meant to look as if you had just whitewashed your face (wrong shade) or painted your face. One trick to find out if the shade if right for you, is to snap a picture with flash of your whole body. Compare the shades of your body and face. If you happen to see a paler shade on your face, then you’ve got it all wrong. I’ve seen many ladies with this problem and it’s just not flattering at all. Too much of anything is just wrong. Guys, as I know, do not like girls who apply such heavy make up and some of them (including ladies) have jokingly said that if girls with thick make up on gets slapped, their foundation would crack into pieces and just fall off to the ground. I know, it sounds kinda uncouth and insulting, but they do have a point there. Furthermore, do you wish to kiss a cheek filled with lots of foundation and make up? I don’t think so.

4. Setting the right base on your face before applying liquid foundation can be troublesome as well. Personally, I don’t use a primer but I do moisturise my face before applying the compact powder. I would leave the moisturiser on for about 5 mins before I apply the powder to preventing it from caking and layering, which is a very ugly sight I tell you. As primers/moisturisers are liquid base, applying another liquid over it can be tricky. You might have to wait longer for the primers/moisturisers to set before you can start applying the liquid foundation. Not a good idea if you are in a rush, especially when you are rushing for work in the morning.  And once it cakes, it would be very difficult to set it right again and you would most probably have to remove it and apply everything all over again.

5. You need not touch up with another cosmetics if you are using compact powder. You can just touch it up on the go and that’s one thing less to carry in your make up pouch. If you are using liquid foundation, you would need to set it after it dries for a matte finishing. Extra step, extra costs, extra chemicals on your face, extra difficult to remove it thoroughly.

6. As you may have noticed, the Chanel powder comes with a brush, which I have not used before. I’ve not experiment using brush for foundation application though and still prefers using sponge. But for liquid foundation, you can’t use a brush although you may want to consider using a sponge but most ladies, use their fingers to apply.

7. Since liquid foundation is more difficult to remove, you may have to remove them twice in total. If it’s not removed thoroughly and properly, expect to see those unfriendly zits popping out the next few days. I do not believe when foundations/powders are claimed that they do not clog the pores, especially when you have open pores, it’s easier to enter and clog them. The only method is to ensure you do remove your make up and remove them thoroughly and then cleanse your face after that as well.

8. The only hassle which both liquid foundations and compact powders face together is the touching up, especially if you have combination skin like mine with oily T-zone. You can try getting those suitable for combination skin, but I’m sure more or less, there bound to be secretion of oil at the T-zone and constant touching up is a must. This is especially so when you are out of an air-conditioned room, or even when you are in it!

So ladies, I hope you find these information useful when deciding between liquid foundations and compact powders. If you do not require heavy coverage, I would encourage you to go for compact powder instead. Please do not use loose powder for coverage as they are meant to touch up and set the liquid foundations to a matter finishing.

Thanks for reading babes! 🙂

xoxo,
Jean

  • Contact lens cases (1 to 2) – So that I can remove them whenever my eyes feel dry and tired
  • Mentholatum Therapy Lip Balm – Been using this for almost a decade (GASP!) and I like the minty feel on my lips. I am prone to cold sores (Attracted this several years ago) and it helps to soothe the itchiness. But I’ve observed that I can’t wear this to sleep because it triggers my cold sore when I wake up in the morning, which the reason, is still a mystery…
  • Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm (Smoothing Cherry and Cherry Velvet flavours) – I like the shine it produces which Mentholatum doesn’t offer. Oilier than Mentholatum too.
  • Contact lens solution – Carry around a small one and I even have a big one at my office too!

Feel free to share what’s in your make up pouch and essentials which you can’t leave home without! 😀

Single eyelids woes

While single eyelids or some call it mono lids look extremely sexy on hot Korean guys, most ladies yearn for double eyelids when they have single eyelids. Ladies like me 😦

My single eyelids were due to inheritance from my parents, of which, my dad had his double eyelids magically appearing and perpetually remaining as they are now when he reached 30. LOL, surprising I know!

So anyway, without double eyelids, eyes with single eyelids look dull, sleepy and well… Ugly, to me.

It is magical that I have the capability to create the double eyelids when I put on falsies! 🙂 Thus, most of the times when I’m out to play, I’m always using them 🙂

I have settled for no eye makeup recently on days which I just head to work and back home, partly because of time management as well as the hassles. So on those days, I’m always in disguise with my specs. Note how specs divert attention to details on your eyes as they sort of ‘hide’ them.

And wearing falsies with specs over is not recommendable and quite impossible without hurting you eyes/eyelids because the they clashes with the specs. Just like how the eyelash extensions did. Extremely uncomfortable and painful! 😦

I used to wear double eyelid tapes for a while but stopped ever since. I was using the usual nude/white coloured ones but realised that they are actually quite obvious. Or perhaps I was thinking too much and afraid that others might discover them – which I think it’s rather embarrassing. I’ve seen ladies with double eyelid tapes as well and well, not really a fan of that sight. 😦

Recently, I’d chanced upon this new double eyelid tapes WHICH COME IN BLACK!!!

This reminds me of how I’d used to colour my white double eyelid tapes with my eyeliner but ended up with a huge mess because the colour runs.

Now, they come in black as they are! Extremely excited to know of this and heh, I’d just ordered 2 trial sets for the narrow and shaped style ones (20 each) online from GMarket 🙂

Talk about overspending…! =x

Here are some pictures to satisfy your curiosity! 😀

Will update this space again one I get hold of them! ❤

Notice how cool is it to stick on falsies on?! But I’m a little skeptical because I’m afraid that it might fall off any minute. Doesn’t seem very securely glued. Will try and see how! 😀

Not sure who will buy these wide style ones but it looks very comical to me. Kinda reminds me of the La Pi Xiao Xing’s eyebrows? LOL?!
Hope you guys are as excited as me! 😀
